Easter eggs ( ) ( ) ( )

Today, I accidentally took part in an easter egg hunt :)
On my bus journey to downtown, the bus driver had hidden chocolate eggs all over the bus for passengers to find! It was very entertaining. There was a prize for the person who found the pink egg.
I also went to Chris' birthday party at Acts 29 church.
We had a great afternoon eating and singing and playing games.

Easter blessings

Hope you are having a wonderful Easter weekend!
Yesterday I attended Ebeneezer Church for a Good Friday service. Four churches, including Immanuel, joined together to worship and it was great.
It is through Jesus' obedience to His father's will to go the cross to die, that we have the choice of an eternal loving relationship with God, our Father. This Easter weekend has brought fresh appreciation of God's grace, His sacrifice and the love that He extends towards me, and also how my life is so blessed by the relationship that I have with the living God. He renews and refreshes me in ways I could never imagine.
God bless

The Alpha and Omega

Just returned from the Alpha course at church tonight.
It is very interesting. Tonight we were discussing the evidence for who is Jesus and is he who he said he was.
Also, the food is very good (Phylis' home-cooked meatloaf with cajun roast potatoes and carrots, and for desert, Gisela made yummy strawberry cake with cream - absolutely mouthwateringly delicious)!!

C S Lewis once said, "A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said, would not be a great moral teacher. He'd either be insane or else he'd be the devil of hell ... We are faced then with a frightening alternative. Either Jesus was (and is) just what he said or else he was insane or something worse."
"However strange or terrifying or unlikely it may seem, I have to accept the view that he was and is God."

What do you think?

Gorgeous mountains

Tonight, as I was making my way home (to my sofa bed in the lounge), the views of the mountains were stunning (my photos dont quite take your breath away like the real thing!)
It reminds me why Vancouver rates so highly for quality of life.
Btw, gym night included playing dodge ball and volley ball at the school gym. i was too sleepy to move ;) or perhaps that is too lazy!
God bless

Cookies!

hi,
I admit that European chocolate is far tastier than on this side of the Atlantic!
That said, I have just rediscovered the joys of double-stuff Oreo cookies!
oh yummy! Enjoy...
